Travel Turn-offs

Oh my, summer hasn't reached our place yet, the yearly road construction has started to add to the worsening bumper-to-bumper traffic along Bagbaguin Road nearing the Bocaue Toll gate area (or the road that leads to NLEX)! Traffic is standstill everyday that a lot of commuters from nearby communities have to spend two (2) hours just to reach the toll gate or NLEX - such a waste of time and money for most of us!

We can't help but notice these turn-offs when we ride buses from Bulacan (located at the northern part of the country). Every year and every day of our lives, we are consumed by unending road constructions, repairs, improvements and other words that connote building of new roads along Bocaue to Bagbaguin to Caypombo to Sta. Clara and Pulong-Buhangin, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
A signage was put up for this year's project

                                                                  A torn bus part

Another annoying incident, when this bus had gone broken right after we entered the Bocaue Toll gate on a rainy night. The driver didn't inform us that the bus' gear was broken. Promised that there will be an immediate bus to pick us up, but instead the driver and assistant have gone missing when passengers asked for a refund. After 40 minutes and there's still not a single bus to pick us up to our destination! Now we know why the driver changed took off his polo and left the civilian shirt. So that he won't be recognized by the other passengers who will be asking for refunds.

My fellow passenger,a woman who works at Munoz suggested that we just ride a jeep so that we won't get wet from the rain. She can 't find the driver and she will just report this incident to a friend who works in this bus company to inform the bus owner or operator about the incident.
