The Best Traffic Companion --- the iPad!

What's the best companion when you are stuck in traffic? For me, it will be Apple's iPad! Whether it's the iPad Mini, iPad 2 or just iPad. Nothing beats the slowly creeping boredom of traffic than the iPad.
More than that, this gadget becomes a super savior for me, especially when I need to check on my emails. On those times when I am quite busy with a project or two, the iPad is a necessity. You can get the info right away when you needed them. Write emails instantly without rushing to your regular PC, which most of the time will be posted at your office, of course.

And to make sure that I get most out of my iPad, here are some simple tips I swear to live by to ensure my iPad lasts longer:
Lets start with accessories that help. The first one, is to purchase an iPad cover to protect your iPad. iPad covers come in different styles and designs. I love the one that covers the 'face' or front and has a built-in holder when you fold the item. (When you haven't purchased yet the screen protector, the flap can protect the front temporarily, especially when you place the iPad inside your bag). Aside from the cover, have the Apple Store technician attach an iPad Screen Protector to protect it from scratches and at the same time, remove the glare. Next, you can also drain the battery of your iPad unit upon purchase, before you load them up to sort of 'priming' them or fully maximized the battery's capacity and make the battery's life lasts longer. After that, make sure that you don't empty them to almost zero percent (if this is achievable) and have them ready whenever you need them. Also, don't forget to bring the iPad adapter when going out of town.

To ensure that your iPad will be in pristine condition, make sure that you don't touch them when your hands are dirty. Our fingers usually have natural oils, so just make sure you sanitized them with a little alcohol and have them dry. So, this also means, eating or placing your unit near food items or liquids or dust should be 100% avoided at all times when you're using the iPad (or just any electronic gadgets I know!). And when you are tempted, just remember how your iPad makes life's tasks easier!
