Chinese New Year
Past Day 1 in the Chinese Calendar
Wow! There was no traffic along Munoz (Quezon City area)...
Even 8th Street in Caloocan City is almost empty!
The traffic at 5th Avenue is picking up after our turn...
Ah, yes, there's the building up of cars and vehicles at this side from Divisoria after the turn.
Felt hungry, so we went to 999 Mall to eat at a fastfood restaurant...Sad to know that they don't have nai cha and braised beef - the group's all time fave food to eat at this fastfood chain.
So, off we went to Lucky China Mall!
On the Ground floor, we saw the "Money" tree!
OMG, there's a huge crowd inside as we went on the second floor to check for some nice restaurants...
More people coming in...
Friends grouped together to stroll inside the mall...People are everywhere...Some are looking for stuffs or just watching. Others are selling wares and stuffs like snacks and artworks...
This is the top view of what supposed to be the mall's main activity center as there is an ongoing program while the Chinese New Year is being celebrated...
My group and I decided to check out other fast food restaurants outside the mall...More people coming in...
Finally, after seeing that this McDonald restaurant is also full, we went back to 999 mall...

Some areas have few vehicles, but the major intersections are filling up once in a while...

Glad to know that there's a Hungry Juan food stall which offers good food for people like us who are always in a hurry! And after all, everybody's celebrating the Chinese New Year here, the fast food chains are jampacked with people that we can't get a table for any simple meal!
My friends and I ordered "tapa" and "sisig"! All yummy and affordable at P89 all with complimentary softdrinks in can! ;-)
And yes, the service is good and --- fast!
After window shopping inside the mall, we decided to go SM North EDSA (Quezon City) to check their 3-day sale for the Chinese New Year...We went to the shoe section to check out some new pair of shoes for our aching feet.
Got hungry again...
The team went to McDonald's-Mindanao Ave. (Quezon City) to grab a snack after checking the shoe department and several events inside the malls at downtown Manila.
