       A quick visit to the Manila Post Office at Lawton, Manila. Located just across the famous Metropolitan Theater of Manila (near LRT-Central Station) yield the following photo shots while killing time and as we wait for our appointment for filing a Postal I.D.      The door leading to the Postal I.D. application office after submitting the requirements.                                                                              We occupied this bench for almost two hours while we chat with other applicants...   Just like this group, we waited for hours...To kill time, we tried to absorbed the historic and spacious ambiance of the post office and we got these...      I love the ceiling! ...

      The LRT or Lightrail Transit, the train connecting Quezon City to Manila is one of the best and fastest way to travel to Manila from the north. In this trip last Saturday, we chose to ride at the Monumento Station. We're not happy at what we discovered. The escalator is not working, the stairs's tiles are not yet replaced! Uh oh.      Just a couple of months before, we checked the Comfort Room and we're not happy about it. We asked the lady guard to tell the management about the condition of the facility, but she's not confident that this will be addressed since it's been an ongoing "problem" of the station. Actually, just a very good information campaign and a reliable maintenance group are all what these facilities need.      All LRT escalators I visited are like this, unoperational.     The LRT- Monumento station stairs. Rehearsals here and there!      Rehearsals can truly inspire you to work harder, and it can also drive you crazy about food! And for instant energy, I will have a heap of macaroni salad while my friends settle for a slice of pizza and a plate of ziti!  Yum! Just make sure to burn all the calories that goes with these ;)

        GSIS Theater will once again lend its stage to the most awaited staging of the life of the country's another famous hero, Andres Bonifacio. Born and raised  in Manila, Andres was famous for reuniting Filipinos and revolting against the Spaniards 300 years ago. His life, love and death will be celebrated again through a play musical on July 24, 2015 at the GSIS Theater, Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), Pasay City, Philippines.
