M anila H elps       A s we have always done in the past as a media broadcaster, we've #repose ,  coordinated with institutions that are concerned with the community's welfare. We try to help them by using radio and TV programs to reach a wider audience to relay important public announcements and notices.       T hese include programs of DSWD which helps families find their missing loved ones. And now that the role of social media has become relevant and has proven to be an effective way of reaching the public, we believe that this is also a useful tool to help reunite families with their lost loved ones.      A s we visit Manila and found our way to its center, the Manila City hall, we can't help but notice the DSWD's bulletin board loaded with fosters of people from the community who has gone missing for quite sometime and their families longing to bring them back home.       W e appeal to everyone who might...

M anila   H elps       W e actually visited the office which is in-charge of its senior citizens and PWDs which stands for Persons with Disability (or for those who have long-term physical, mental or sensory impairments which in interaction with various barriers may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others), the DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development) office at the Manila City hall.      A side from assisting these members of the community, this office also helps their relatives who are in dire need of assistance like expenses incurred from hospitalization, medical procedures (e.g. dialysis), medicines, burial and linking them to possible government agencies that can help if additional assistance is required.       A s we observed the department's traffic, we noticed the bulletin board is filled with fosters with photos and announcements.
